--Former NFL head coach Herm Edwards gave some advice to quarterback Robert Griffin III on ESPN 980 on Monday. Edwards said, "I think he’s got to be more concerned now with learning how to play quarterback and lead the team from the huddle."

--Former linebacker LaVar Arrington defends Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III from Bears tight end Martellus Bennett's criticisms. In response to Bennett's comments, Arrington said, "I just don't think that people like Martellus Bennett need to be the moral police of Robert Griffin III." 

--A look at the type of responsibilities that general manager Bruce Allen has in rebuilding a team that finished 3-13 last season. Allen will try to bring stability to a team that has finished last in the NFC East five of the past six years.

--One reporter answers questions submitted by Redskins fans including a prediction as to the type of success defensive coordinator Jim Haslett can have this season. Reports indicate that Haslett did not have total control over his defense under head coach Mike Shanahan.

--At least two Redskins players look to further their education this offseason through the help of an NFL program. Running back Roy Helu Jr. is looking to pursue a masters degree in religious studies this offseason.

--The Washington Redskins finished 19th in local TV ratings this year and averaged a 26.6 household rating.

--Super Bowl champion and former Washington Redskins running back, Earnest Byner reportedly is expected to interview for the running backs coach position. Byner was the teams running back coach from 2004-2007 and was most recently with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2012-13.

--Tight ends coach Sean McVay will soon become the Redskins offensive coordinator. According to reports his contract is being finalized and players have expressed their confidence that McVay will excel in the position.

--Head Coach Jay Gruden reportedly may have former colleague and Bengals linebacker coach Paul Guenther join his staff in Washington. According to reports Guenther may leave for Washington if Bengals defensive coordinator Don Zimmer stays in Cincinnati.

--What the expectations will be for first-time NFL head coach Jay Gruden and why he is already drawing some comparisons to former coach Joe Gibbs.

--Redskins tight end Jordan Reed![](/team/roster/jordan-reed/1133b0ba-423f-4242-8a15-78e41d58c69a/ "Jordan Reed") was elected to the Pro Football Writers of America's annual all-rookie team. Reed finished second on the team in catches (45), yards (499) and touchdowns (3) despite missing the final six games of the season.

--On Tuesday, Sean McVay officially became the Washington Redskins new offensive coordinator. McVay, 27, will become the youngest offensive coordinator in the NFL and has been highly regarded by coaches who worked alongside him.

--What offensive lineman Maurice Hurt needs to do to remain a factor for the Redskins team this upcoming season. Hurt was drafted in 2011 in the 7th round and missed the entire 2013 season after having knee surgery during OTAs.

--The Washington Redskins have options to decide when it comes to linebacker Ryan Kerrigan's contract. The team has the option to extend Kerrigan's rookie contract from a four year deal to a five year deal which would increase his salary to the $3-4 million range.

--A look at the Redskins offseason salary cap room entering the 2014 season. The Redskins will have approximately $28.6 million in cap space and this years NFL cap is $127.5 million per team.

--Former Redskins running back Clinton Portis expressed his feelings on owner Dan Snyder and how Snyder has influenced him over the years. Portis said, "You don't find it ironic that players never speak bad about Mr. Snyder and everyone else can't stand him?"
