--Some think New York Giants' defensive coordinator Perry Fewell is a potential fit for the Redskins head coaching vacancy as the Redskins have reportedly requested permission to interview Fewell.

--An ESPN.com poll that asked who was to blame for the Redskins 3-13 season.

--Baylor head coach Art Briles denies any involvement by the Redskins who were reportedly linked to Briles to replace Mike Shanahan as the head coach of the Washington Redskins. Briles said, "I don’t think I’ve got a missed call from Dan Snyder, do I? "

--Who Redskins scouts had their eyes on during the Fiesta Bowl between the University of Central Florida and Baylor University. Safety Ahmad Dixon is projected to be a second or third round pick and could be an answer to the Redskins struggles at that position.

--Offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens Jim Caldwell, is reportedly expected to interview for the Redskins head coaching position. Caldwell was a former head coach of the Indianapolis Colts and worked with Peyton Manning during Tony Dungy's tenure.

--The Redskins reportedly sign four practice squad players and three free agents to futures contracts on Tuesday.

--Former Redskins radio announcer Frank Herzog gives his opinion on the state of the Redskins and what he thinks on the potential hiring of a new coach. Herzog said, "Right now, things are very very bad as far as the Redskins are concerned in the whole NFL community and among the coaches."

--The Redskins begin their search for a head coach with reported interviews of two playoffs-bound coordinators: Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell as well as Carolina Panther defensive coordinator Sean McDermott.

--A look at Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Sean McDermott as the Redskins reportedly plan to interview him for their head coaching job. Carolina's defense is ranked second in the league, holding teams to 15.1 points a game.

--James Brown, who hosts The NFL Today, dismissed rumors that former Steelers coach Bill Cowher met with Redskins owner Dan Snyder in talks of becoming the new head coach of the Redskins. Brown said, "No, I do not think Bill Cowher has met with Mr. Snyder at all, in person."

--One reporter answers Redskins fans questions including how the Redskins will be able to balance scouting college players along with NFL free agents this offseason.

--One reporter feels that the Redskins need to find a football savvy head coach that can adapt to the ever-changing NFL even if this coach lacks experience.

--A breakdown of the current names reportedly on the Redskins radar as the team searches for a new head coach. The Redskins are expected to interview four NFL coordinators within the upcoming weeks. 

--A look at five accomplishments during the Shanahan era including drafting Alfred Morris in the sixth round last year. Morris went on to set the Redskins franchise rushing record for a rookie and finished fifth in overall rushing yards this season.

--Redskins General Manager Bruce Allen and former NFL coach Jon Gruden had ties together in Oakland and Tampa Bay but Gruden dismissed any thoughts to coaching the Redskins next season. Gruden said, "I don’t want to be considered for any of these jobs."

--A look at potential NFL prospects from the AdvoCare V100 Bowl between Arizona and Boston College. Arizona's linebacker Marquis Flowers has the size to play in the NFL and could be a solid late round draft pick to help the Redskins special teams unit.  --What went wrong during Mike Shanahan’s tenurein Washington including a trade for quarterback Donovan McNabb which sent away a second and fourth-round draft pick for a quarterback who only started 13 game.
