--Redskins remain focused even with expiring contracts looming. Seven defensive starters are in the last year of their contracts.

--Head coach Mike Shanahan is in the fourth of a five year contract and when asked about a contract extension he said, "I do not think about it."

--Tight end Fred Davis was placed on the inactive list for the fifth time this season. Davis could have earned a reported $500,000 roster bonus if he had been active for 12 games this season.
