-- In his daily "Need To Know," CSN Mid-Atlantic's Rich Tandler wonders if the door may be open still for running back Alfred Morris to return to the Redskins. 

-- CSN Mid-Atlantic's Tarik El-Bashir reports that the Redskins are confident linabacker Junior Galette will return to the team this year.

-- El-Bashir also writes that running back Matt Jones underwent surgery for his ailing hip after the season but is recovering just fine. 

-- Gruden also made it seem as though defensive end Jason Hatcher was still mulling retirement, but is inclineed to return for 2016, according to El-Bashir. 

-- ESPN's John Keim reports that general manager Scot McCloughan met with Kirk Cousins' agent at the NFL Combine and would like to get a long-term deal done. 

-- Keim also reports the Redskins are bullish on Matt Jones becoming their primary running back, just as long as he's able to fix some of his rookie mistakes. 

-- According to Keim, the Redskins should make the defensive line a priority at the Combine this week. 

-- The Washington Times' Anthony Guilizia writes that it's unlikely the Redskins decide to bring back linebacker Keenan Robinson. 

-- The Washington Post's Mike Jones writes that it's not about whether the Redskins will bring back Kirk Cousins, it's about how they will do so as the deadline for the franchise tag approaches. 

-- The Washington Post's Liz Clarke writes that head coach Jay Gruden wants Cousins back in the fold at quarterback and expects him to improve.

-- Jones also writes that NFL coaches and general managers received many questions about Robert Griffin III at their press conferences. 

-- HogsHaven.com continues its 2016 draft profiles by diving into the career and pros of Georgia Tech cornerback D.J. White. 

-- Connor Orr of NFL.com writes that the Redskins plan to have both DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garçon on the team together next season.
