It's the middle of October and safety Duke Ihenacho has a pumpkin, an iPad and a few hours to kill. Instead of flipping on the TV, he decides to get creative. Halloween is approaching afterall, and sometimes it's important to get back to your arts and crafts roots.
Which is to say a pumpkin carving was in order earlier this week, a process that Ihenacho documented with some time-lapse technology.
He makes sure to keep his table clean with some newspapers – shout out to Ihenacho for actually having newspaper in his home at all – and starts carving away, pulling out the seeds and the orange muck inside before diagramming an emoji face onto the front.
Ihenacho is not yet a master carver, so we'll have to see whether he steps up his game next year.
