PHOTOS: Alumni Homecoming Garden Build
More than 30 Washington Football Team alumni and Sean Taylor's family joined the Washington Football Charitable Foundation to create an outdoor learning lab at Burrville Elementary School in Washington, D.C., during Alumni Homecoming Weekend on Oct. 16, in partnership with Out Teach and Pepsi Stronger Together. This learning lab will provide more than 325 elementary school students with an interactive space to grow their STEM knowledge. The learning lab was built in honor of the Sean Taylor Legacy Project.
PHOTOS: All-Star Survivors Celebration
Mrs. Snyder and the Washington Football Charitable Foundation, in partnership with Inova and the American Cancer Society, hosted the 13th annual All-Star Survivors Celebration at Lansdowne Resort & Spa on Oct. 12, 2021. The event focused on pampering, supporting, and celebrating 30 area women who have been affected by breast cancer. During the event, the breast cancer survivors received new jeans donated by Gap Inc., new jewelry donated by Kendra Scott as well as a Washington Football Team gift bag. PHOTOS: HOPE Kit Packaging event at FedExField
On October 5, Washington Football Team staff came together to kick off National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a HOPE Kit Packaging event at FedExField. 335 HOPE Kits were packaged to take all women in DC, MD, and VA off the HOPE Kit waiting list. In honor of our next two home games celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we announced a special something extra at Tuesday's event. With our staff's hundreds of helping hands, we were also able to surprise women on the HOPE Kit wait list in New Orleans and Kansas City.
Thank you to the National Breast Cancer Foundation for providing their HOPE Kits and all the work the foundation does to support women fighting breast cancer. We would also like to thank our partners at FedEx for covering the shipping costs of all the HOPE Kits.
PHOTOS: Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington 306 Program Kickoff
The Washington Football Charitable Foundation partnered with EverFi and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington to bring an African American History program (known as Everfi306) to students in the DC metro area. The Program Kickoff featured a surprise visit from Washington Football Team alumni Tim Hightower and Joshua Morgan. To close out the evening, the two special guests participated in a Q&A session with Club kids. Opening up about societal messages they received growing up, Hightower and Morgan provided insight into how a program like Everfi306 helps to change a limiting narrative and expand the dreams of those in young Black communities.
7th Annual Back to School Fair presented by the Washington Football Charitable Foundation
On Friday, August 13th , the Washington Football Charitable Foundation hosted their 7th Annual Back to School Fair where approximately 1,000 elementary-aged children with identified need from the D.C. Metro Area visited FedExField for a central place to receive information and items to prepare them for the upcoming school year. Children were able to receive services such as dental exams, vision screenings, backpacks, school supplies, sports equipment and more! Each family also received two tickets to attend the Washington Football Team vs. Cincinnati Bengals preseason game on August 20th, courtesy of the Washington Football Team.
Washington Contributes $75k to the City of Richmond's Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Facilities
The city will use the funding to support its renovation project of Hotchkiss Field Community Center which provides a variety of programs for children and young adults in the area. The Washington Football Charitable Foundation surprised young athletes with brand new sporting equipment and more.
2021 Gatorade Junior Training Camp
The Washington Football Charitable Foundation and Gatorade teamed up to host the Gatorade Junior Training Camp at Bon Secours Washington Football Team Training Center in Richmond, VA. 100+ young athletes participated in a morning of football fundamentals and skill development with Washington Football Alumni leading each activity station.

The 6th Annual Washington Football Charity Golf Classic serves as the Official Golf Tournament of the Washington Football Team. On Monday, June 28th, Washington Football Team alumni, leadership, team partners and sponsors came together at Army Navy Country Club for a fun day of golf to raise funds for the Washington Football Charitable Foundation. Thanks to the generosity of our foursome supporters and event sponsors, including, Pepsi, LG Ads, OUTFRONT Media, Kelly Electric, FedEx, GCO Consulting Group, GroundTruth, and BDO, we raised $175,000 for children and families in our community.
