​Information for Fans with Accessibility Needs

The Washington Commanders and FedExField want to make every guest feels welcome at the stadium. If you or someone you are with has questions about accommodations for fans with accessibility needs, you may reach us before, during, or after an event by email at guestservices@commanders.com, by phone at (301) 276-6050, or by visiting any of our Guest Services located near the elevator banks on either side of the stadium (closest to Gate E and Gate A) on every level of the stadium.

Please note that accessible seating and parking is limited, so please arrive early to ensure availability. The Washington Commanders and FedExField reserve all rights and remedies against any able-bodied guest who makes false statements or omissions regarding their need for accommodations.

Guest Services

FedExField Guest Services are located on either side of the stadium (closest to the Gate E and Gate A) on every level of the stadium. These service centers are staffed by trained personnel who can help provide you with any necessary accommodations during a game or other event.

Accessible Seating

Accessible seating is available on all levels at FedExField. Fans in need of accessible seating can purchase accessible seats for any game directly at seatgeek.com/venues/fedexfield/tickets.

Fans in need of accessible seating who have already purchased tickets can be relocated to accessible seating on the day of the game by visiting one of our Guest Services booths inside the stadium. Guest Services are located on every level inside the stadium at Gates A and E.

Please note that accessible seating in any specific section may be limited, so fans with a preferred seat location should arrive early. Stadium gates generally open two hours prior to each event. FedExField reserves the right to take appropriate legal action against individuals who fraudulently obtain wheelchair and companion seating.

Accessible Parking

Commanders Field offers on-site accessible parking for guests with a valid state-issued disabled parking permit and/or license plate. Click here for a map showing the location of accessible parking areas.

Parking attendants will direct those with a valid parking pass and a valid state-issued disabled parking permit and/or license plate to these areas. Additionally, golf cart transportation assistance is available. If you need assistance call 301-276-6100 or text SAFE to 69050. You may purchase a parking permit in advance of your visit by calling (301) 276-6050 or by clicking here.

Accessible parking is also available in the Gray Lot (cash lot) on Brightseat Road. From there, shuttles containing wheelchair lifts run on a continuous loop to the entrance to the stadium for disabled fans and their guests. Please note that the Gray Lot is the only cash lot controlled by the stadium. The Washington Commanders and Commanders Field cannot guarantee the availability of accessible parking or other accommodations at any other cash lot surrounding the stadium.

Metro Access vans can be scheduled in advance of Commanders Field events through Metro Access. Trips can be scheduled online or by contacting WMATA by phone. Vans will drop off and pick up at Gate A and Gate E pre and post-game.

Closed Captioning and Assisted Listening Devices

The stadium provides assisted listening devices as well as captioning for the hearing impaired for all in-stadium announcements, including play-by-play announcements, on ribbon boards located at the 50-yard lines on both sides of the stadium. Team officials will try to relocate any fan with a hearing impairment who is unable to view the in-stadium ribbon boards from his assigned seat.

In addition, the stadium provides play-by-play captioning on television monitors located throughout the common areas of the stadium.

Ramps and Elevators

Code compliant public ramps are available at FedExField. These ramps are located adjacent to Gates A, H, E, and D.

Public elevators are available for guests with mobility issues. If you or someone you are with requires access to an elevator, please have your group visit any Guest Services location to obtain an elevator wristband. FedExField reserves the right to take appropriate legal action against individuals who fraudulently obtain elevator wristbands.

Restrooms

All public restrooms are accessible to our patrons with disabilities.  Family restrooms are also located on every level of the stadium.

Concession Stands

Every concession stand and bar is accessible to patrons with disabilities.  If assistance is required at any of the food service areas, please contact the nearest event staff worker.

Service Animals

Service animals for disabled patrons are allowed.  Please contact us if any accommodations are needed.

Interpreter Requests

Guests requiring interpretive services for concerts and events should contact Guest Services by email at guestservices@commanders.com, or by phone at (301) 276-6050, at least two (2) weeks prior to the event to allow time to procure a qualified interpreter.
