On December 13th, 1970 Larry Brown was the first Redskin to rush for 1,000 yards. Brown was also a four time Pro-Bowler and MVP in 1972.

On January 15th, 1983 John Riggins had 37 carries for 185 yards to beat the Vikings 21-7, advancing to the NFC Championship.

On November 5th, 2006 with six seconds left in the fourth quarter, Sean Taylor blocks a game winning field goal. With a penalty on Taylor's side it sets up a field goal leaving the Cowboys stunned with a Redskins victory.

On October 8th, 1973 with the Washington Redskins hosting the Dallas Cowboys at RFK, Ken Houston stops Walt Garrison on fourth and goal giving the Redskins a 14-7 victory.

On October 25th, 2015 Kirk Cousins throws three touchdowns and runs for one as the Washington Redskins over come a 24-point deficit to beat the Buccaneers 31-30. The greatest comeback in Redskins history.

On January 10th, 1988 with the game on the line, Darrell Green returns a 53-yard touchdown to secure the win against the Chicago Bears.
