Look, it's the last day before players report to training camp, so the rationale for what you are going to read, but mostly look at and watch, is based on the fact that these kinds of blog posts won't be happening  nearly as often anymore because football season is upon us.

As you can see above, cornerback Bashaud Breeland stopped by the Inova Sports Performance Center at Redskins Park on Tuesday and brought along a few of his companions.

He is the Pied Piper of English Bulldogs.

Let's go back just briefly though to how this all happened, and why these dogs follow him lovingly so.

Breeland introduced these puppies' eventual momma, "my new hitta," as he called her, with a video of her plodding down the stairs.

Later, he took a trip to Atlanta with her "looking for a mate," as he captioned on Instagram, "she's in heat offering first pick of the litter."

Apparently he found one quickly, because the night of Rob Kelley's annual All-White Party, a litter of at least eight pups was born.

This would eventually require some cute puppy pics.

The litter has shrunk a bit and some brothers and sisters have been split up. They still enjoy the car rides though.

But, as of now, it seems Bashaud is still a happy father of four. Maybe he'll bring them to Richmond?
