Fans Remember Sean Taylor On His 32nd Birthday

For more from the team, including exclusive videos, photos and written content, be sure to “like” the Redskins’ Official Facebook page.

Sean Taylor was one of the fastest rising stars in the NFL during his four-year career with the Washington Redskins before his life was tragically cut short in 2007.

To this day it is still hard to swallow the loss of No. 21 on and off the field. Teammates like Santana Moss and Clinton Portis were some of Taylor's closest friends.

Just this morning, Moss posted a tribute to his friend on Instagram:

In honor of his 32nd birthday, we have a look at what some of Redskins Nation has to say about Taylor:

Yesterday, we also asked fans to give us their favorite memories from Taylor's time with the team as part of out weekly #TuesdayTalk series.

While the answers varied, Taylor's passion for the game was a common theme:

@Redskins It's almost impossible to pick 1 play from such an amazing career. Fumble return TD vs Philly in 05 to clinch a playoff berth. — Hunter Lipski (@Hunter_Lipski) March 31, 2015

Taylor appeared in 53 games with the Redskins, recording 299 tackles, 12 interceptions and eight fumbles forced.
